Kate has extensive experience having qualified at Coventry University in the UK in 2005.  She has worked in South Africa in public and private hospitals whist owning and running a private practice, being a team physio for a South African PSL Soccer league team working alongside the national soccer coach and working in occupational settings for BHP Billiton and South 32.  Over the last 10 years she was in the unique position to care for patients from ICU through to return to work.  In 2015 she immigrated to Australia where she has continued to practice within outpatient and occupational settings whist maintaining her commitment to life-long learning . 

Her specific experience relating to splinting and casting was acquired in both government and private hospital and clinic settings in South Africa working in burns and plastics and orthopedic and neurological rehab facilities.  She has a post graduate certificate in Hand Therapy from Derby University (UK) and has a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care to patients 

Kate has five children and two cats.  Her sporting history is as varied as her working career and includes ballet, rugby and marathon running; she now enjoys boating and mountain cycling.
