Michael Rogers – Principal Physiotherapist
Michael has a Diploma of Health Science in Massage, and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy.
Michael has worked at LifeCare Phoenix since 2003. He is a Practice Principal in Phoenix and has had the pleasure of helping develop the practice into the successful centre it is today. Michael has worked closely with the local community and medical practitioners for many years and takes pride in helping improve the quality of life of people in the area. He has an interest in exercise rehabilitation, including gym-based and hydrotherapy programs, and has many years’ experience in treating neck and back pain along with helping people recover from motor vehicle and work related injuries.
Michael has extensive experience in Physiotherapy Instrument Mobilisation, the prescription and custom fitting of heat mouldable orthotics along with assessment of lower limb biomechanics, and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Outside of work Michael is a member of the Bowmen of Melville and spends most weekends competing at club, state and national levels in the Longbow and Barebow disciplines. He also has interests in photography and classic motorbikes.
