Rachelle symons - Continence and Women's Health Physiotherapist

Rachelle has over 20 years of experience as a physiotherapist, graduating from Curtin University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has worked in public hospitals, private practice clinics and in the community where she has gained experience in treating women and men with bladder and bowel issues. Rachelle holds a Graduate Certificate in Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapy.

Rachelle has expertise in assisting women and men with the management of bladder and bowel incontinence and related issues, prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and antenatal and post natal care.

Rachelle also works part time as a Continence Advisor and Educator with Bladder and Bowel Health Australia, where she provides expert advice and education to clients, carers and health professionals on the prevention and management of bladder and bowel issues.

Rachelle is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), the APA Continence and Women’s Health Special Interest Group, the Continence Foundation of Australia (CFA), the International Continence Society (ICS) and the Continence Physiotherapy Network WA group.
